ADHD Medication After Diagnosis
Following a positive ADHD diagnosis, medication may be one of several treatment options available to help manage symptoms such as:
Difficulty concentrating
Forgetfulness
Impulsivity
Restlessness
Emotional dysregulation
Executive functioning difficulties
Medication is never mandatory and is often combined with therapy, coaching, workplace adjustments, educational support and lifestyle strategies.
Our clinical team works collaboratively with each client to determine the most appropriate treatment pathway.
ADHD Titration Liverpool
Before long-term prescribing can be established, ADHD medication must be carefully adjusted through a process known as titration.
Titration involves gradually introducing medication and monitoring:
Symptom improvement
Side effects
Blood pressure
Heart rate
Overall wellbeing
At ISC-CARE, our ADHD Titration Programme typically runs over 12 weeks and includes three structured prescriber reviews.
For many people, this allows us to identify the most effective medication and dosage. Others may require additional reviews to optimise treatment.
