At ISC-CARE, we provide safe and reliable Electrocardiogram (ECG) testing as part of the ADHD medication process. An ECG is a simple and painless test that records the electrical activity of your heart and helps identify any underlying issues that could make stimulant medication unsafe.
All clients beginning ADHD medication must have had an ECG within the last 3 months. This can usually be arranged through your GP, and we can provide a supporting letter if needed. If your GP is unable to carry out the test promptly, we offer ECG appointments at our Liverpool clinic.
