Ishbel Straker is the Chief Executive Officer of ISC-CARE Ltd, bringing over a decade of experience in healthcare leadership, clinical governance, and trauma-informed service delivery across the UK.

Throughout her career, Ishbel has been driven by a clear purpose: to ensure that high-quality, ethical, and compassionate care is accessible to individuals with complex psychological needs. She has led the development and delivery of specialist services supporting trauma, PTSD, neurodivergence, and mental health presentations, working closely with clinicians, commissioners, and partner organisations to raise standards and improve outcomes.

As CEO, Ishbel is responsible for the strategic direction of ISC-CARE, overseeing governance, quality assurance, safeguarding, and regulatory compliance. She is known for building robust clinical frameworks that prioritise patient safety, transparency, and evidence-based practice, while also supporting and developing multidisciplinary teams to work at their best.

Ishbel has extensive experience navigating regulated environments, including CQC-registered services, NHS-aligned pathways, and commissioned provision. She is particularly committed to ethical leadership, learning from challenge, and embedding continuous improvement at every level of the organisation. Under her leadership, ISC-CARE is focused on delivering services that are not only clinically effective, but genuinely person-centred.

Beyond operational leadership, Ishbel is a strong advocate for trauma-informed systems, staff wellbeing, and reflective practice. She believes that sustainable, high-quality care depends on organisations that value integrity, accountability, and humanity as much as performance.

Ishbel continues to lead ISC-CARE with a clear vision: to create safe, trusted, and clinically excellent services that make a meaningful difference in people’s lives.

Consultant Psychiatrist

Dr Luisa Searle is an award-winning consultant psychiatrist with over 15 years of clinical experience across general adult mental health, substance misuse, and complex dual-diagnosis presentations. She was named Clinician of the Year 2025 at the Cannabis Industry Awards in recognition of her evidence-based practice, compassion, and commitment to innovative treatment pathways.

Dr Searle has specialist expertise in medical cannabis, nutritional psychiatry, and psychedelic-assisted treatments for treatment-resistant depression and substance-use disorders. Earlier in her career, she led substance-misuse and young-people’s services across Westminster and Camden & Islington, developing outreach approaches for vulnerable and underserved populations.

At ISC-CARE, Dr Searle brings a holistic, patient-centred approach that combines traditional psychiatry with emerging therapeutic models. She is also a member of the Medical Cannabis Clinicians Society Expert Committee, supporting national standards and safe clinical practice.

ISC-CARE’s Clinical Director - Senior Clinical Pharmacist & Independent Prescriber

Navinder Dhesi is an experienced Senior Clinical Pharmacist and Independent Prescriber with a specialist focus on ADHD care. He completed his MPharm at the University of Bradford and went on to achieve a Masters (Level 7) qualification in Prescribing for Healthcare Professionals.

Nav has worked across a range of clinical and community settings, developing broad expertise in medicines optimisation, patient counselling, and safe prescribing practices. He has significant experience in assessing and supporting individuals through medication initiation, titration, and ongoing review in accordance with NICE guidelines.

Known for his calm, compassionate, and patient-centred style, Nav works with both adults and young people to ensure their treatment plans are safe, effective, and personalised to their needs. His thorough approach and clear communication make him a valued member of the ISC-CARE clinical team, supporting clients through every stage of their therapeutic journey.

Emergency Medicine Consultant

Dr David Tang is an accomplished Emergency Medicine Consultant with extensive experience across acute hospital settings, military environments, and elite sports teams. After graduating from Guy’s, King’s and St Thomas’ in 2007, he went on to complete specialist training and was appointed as a Consultant in 2021.

Dr Tang has a particular interest in supporting individuals whose needs are not fully met by standard treatment pathways. His background in frontline and specialist care has given him a broad understanding of complex musculoskeletal issues, long-term conditions, and the challenges faced by patients navigating chronic or persistent symptoms.

At ISC-CARE, Dr Tang brings a calm, pragmatic, and holistic approach to assessment and treatment. He is committed to delivering safe, thoughtful, patient-centred care and draws on his diverse clinical experience to support people seeking clarity, stability, and improved wellbeing.
