Transfer Your ADHD Care

If you have already received a formal ADHD diagnosis, you may not need another assessment to access medication and treatment.

At ISC-CARE, we accept many legitimate ADHD diagnoses completed by appropriately qualified clinicians and providers. Rather than charging unnecessary reassessment or onboarding fees, we offer a straightforward pathway into ADHD Medication & Titration, helping you access treatment as quickly and safely as possible.

A Clear Route to ADHD Treatment

We believe treatment should not be delayed by unnecessary duplication. If you already have a recognised ADHD diagnosis, our focus is on helping you move forward with safe prescribing, medication titration, and ongoing support.

Before treatment begins, we simply verify that your diagnosis and supporting documentation meet the clinical and safety requirements needed for prescribing.

Who Can Apply?

This pathway may be suitable if you:

✓ Have a formal ADHD diagnosis from a recognised clinician or provider

✓ Would like to begin ADHD Medication & Titration

✓ Want support with NHS Shared Care or ongoing prescribing

✓ Are looking for a straightforward transfer-of-care process

✓ Would like a trauma-informed and neurodiversity-affirming approach

If you're unsure whether your diagnosis will be accepted, simply submit your documents and our team will advise you.

Free Diagnosis Verification

We do not routinely repeat ADHD assessments where a legitimate diagnosis already exists.

Instead, we carry out a free diagnosis verification process to ensure that your assessment is suitable for safe prescribing and ongoing clinical care.

We typically review:

✓ Your diagnostic report and conclusion

✓ The qualifications of the diagnosing clinician or service

✓ The assessment process used

✓ Relevant medical information required for prescribing

This is not a repeat ADHD assessment. It is a free clinical review to ensure treatment can be provided safely and responsibly.

What You'll Need

To begin the process, we will usually require:

✓ A copy of your ADHD diagnostic report

✓ Any supporting clinical letters or documents

✓ A GP summary or relevant medical information

✓ Evidence of required medical checks (see ECG information below)

ECG Requirement

Before starting ADHD medication, all clients must have had an ECG within the previous three months.

This important safety check helps identify any underlying cardiac concerns before stimulant medication is prescribed.

If your GP is unable to arrange an ECG, we can provide one at our Liverpool clinic for £40. Book here.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you accept all private ADHD diagnoses?

We accept many diagnoses from recognised providers where the documentation supports safe prescribing. If additional information is needed, we will explain exactly what is required.

What happens if my GP declines Shared Care?

Some GP practices do not accept private Shared Care arrangements. If this happens, ongoing prescribing and reviews can continue privately through ISC-CARE.

Do I need therapy during titration?

No. However, many clients find therapy helpful alongside medication to develop routines, coping strategies, and emotional resilience.

Can you guarantee medication will work for me?

No responsible provider can guarantee medication suitability. Treatment decisions are always based on your individual medical history, response to medication, and any side effects experienced during titration.
