Free Diagnosis Verification

We do not routinely repeat ADHD assessments where a legitimate diagnosis already exists.

Instead, we carry out a free diagnosis verification process to ensure that your assessment is suitable for safe prescribing and ongoing clinical care.

We typically review:

✓ The qualifications of the diagnosing clinician or service

✓ The assessment process used

✓ Relevant medical information required for prescribing

This is not a repeat ADHD assessment. It is a free clinical review to ensure treatment can be provided safely and responsibly.

What You'll Need

To begin the process, we will usually require:

✓ A copy of your ADHD diagnostic report

✓ Any supporting clinical letters or documents

✓ A GP summary or relevant medical information

✓ Evidence of required medical checks (see ECG information below)

ECG Requirement

Before starting ADHD medication, all clients must have had an ECG within the previous three months.

This important safety check helps identify any underlying cardiac concerns before stimulant medication is prescribed.

What Happens Next?

Step 1 – Complete the Transfer of Care Application

Submit your diagnostic report and supporting documentation for review.

Step 2 – Clinical Verification

We review your diagnosis and ensure all required information is available for safe prescribing.

Step 3 – Complete Medical Checks

This includes an ECG and any additional checks requested by the prescriber.

Step 4 – Begin ADHD Medication & Titration

Most clients complete a structured 12-week titration programme with regular prescriber reviews.

Step 5 – Ongoing Support & Shared Care

Once stable on medication, we may be able to initiate an NHS Shared Care Agreement with your GP, subject to GP approval.

We accept many diagnoses from recognised providers where the documentation supports safe prescribing. If additional information is needed, we will explain exactly what is required.

What happens if my GP declines Shared Care?

Some GP practices do not accept private Shared Care arrangements. If this happens, ongoing prescribing and reviews can continue privately through ISC-CARE.

Do I need therapy during titration?

No. However, many clients find therapy helpful alongside medication to develop routines, coping strategies, and emotional resilience.

Can you guarantee medication will work for me?

No responsible provider can guarantee medication suitability. Treatment decisions are always based on your individual medical history, response to medication, and any side effects experienced during titration.
