Enhanced ADHD Diagnostic Assessment

The Enhanced ADHD Diagnostic Assessment provides a more comprehensive diagnostic package for individuals who require detailed clinical documentation, formal adjustment reports, and additional consultant time following diagnosis.

This assessment follows the same structured diagnostic pathway used across our services and is designed for clients who may need clear supporting documentation for workplaces, universities, schools, or legal contexts, or who would benefit from a dedicated consultation to discuss their diagnosis and potential treatment options in greater depth.

What the Enhanced Assessment Includes

Structured Clinical Assessment (90–120 Minutes)

You will meet with a trained Assistant Psychologist for a detailed structured clinical assessment exploring:

  • Developmental history

  • Current symptoms

  • Functional difficulties

  • Educational and occupational history

  • Daily life impact

For children, parents or carers are involved as part of the assessment process.

All assessments follow recognised diagnostic frameworks.

Consultant Diagnostic Session – 20–25 Minutes

Following the assessment, you will meet directly with a Consultant Clinician who will review the assessment findings, meet the client personally, clarify any final clinical questions, and confirm the diagnosis where criteria are met.

This ensures the clinician responsible for confirming the diagnosis has personally met the client, providing an important level of clinical oversight.

Standardised Diagnostic Symptom Report

A detailed structured symptom report is included as part of the Enhanced assessment:

Adults (Age 17+)
A full DIVA-5 symptom breakdown report outlining the presence and severity of ADHD symptoms across childhood and adulthood, clearly mapped against recognised diagnostic criteria.

Children (Age 5–16)
A structured Conners assessment report, providing standardised behavioural analysis based on validated ADHD screening tools.

These reports provide additional clinical documentation that may be useful when presenting evidence of ADHD symptoms to healthcare professionals, educational institutions or employers.

Personalised Adjustments & Support Report

A tailored report outlining recommended adjustments and support strategies, based on the symptoms and functional difficulties identified during the assessment.

This report may be used to support discussions with:

  • Employers or workplace occupational health services

  • Universities or higher education institutions

  • Schools or educational providers

  • Legal or court contexts where supporting documentation may be required

Recommendations are individualised to the client’s specific difficulties, helping organisations understand how ADHD may affect day-to-day functioning and what adjustments may be beneficial.

Consultant Follow-Up Consultation – 30 Minutes

A dedicated 30-minute consultation with the Consultant Clinician following diagnosis.

During this session you will have the opportunity to:

  • Discuss your diagnosis in greater depth

  • Ask questions about ADHD and how it affects you

  • Explore potential treatment options

  • Discuss the possibility of medication and titration pathways

  • Receive guidance on next steps and ongoing support

This additional consultation ensures clients have time to fully understand their diagnosis and consider appropriate onward care..
